Totally worth buying if you love beautifully detailed 8-bit graphics, soothing meditative music, and long adventures with an enchanting yet straightforward storyline. Personally I like games with more adventuring and less fighting, but some may disagree. I bought the game hoping it would be a lot like the game Cave Story. Swords & Sworcery is way easier, but because its a game app, the storyline and the mechanics of the game are way more simple and limited. The game has crashed on me twice, but it at least has saved the place in my game. I also like the fact that you dont have to save your place in the game before your character gets killed which is very convenient.

Is it possible to go in the well with the iOS versions? If possible someone plz tell me

Amazing experience // too bad the game isnt longer. Music and visuals are impressive and overall anyone who says this game isnt good is blind. Congrats to DEVS for an amazing game. Make part 2!

Its on my top 5 games with titles such as sotc, mgs, loz, and Mario this games is weird makes no sense at all and you must guide yourself by clues that are given, you must have common sense to figure out what to do next, when u discover something you feel like you really discover something its totally a master piece in music and design.

This game is just amazing. Witty, engrossing, challenging, beautiful, moving. There isnt enough praise I can throw on this game, and it is hands down the best I have ever played on the iPhone, ranking high on my list of favorite games on any gaming system. If you havent played this game, buy it now and fund the Superbrothers teams continued releases of amazing games.

This has been on my radar for a while and Im just now getting around to playing it. Its been so hyped I think I expected to be disappointed. But I was not. Get it.

Love the game right up until it asked me to wait 10 days to play it in order to continue story. After a few days, I forgot about the game and moved on.

Great adventure game, with original music, quirky storyline, and thought provoking puzzles. If you actually waited 10 days to play it, instead of finding the moon grotto, you really missed the multiple hints in the game. The fighting parts are awesome, and the humor is great! Wish the game was longer!

I was having a bad day at school so I decided to play this, and after playing it I was in a good mood. The sounds and all the effects just put a big smile on my face and I couldnt stop...now they probably think Im weird. Lol but this game is very fun, time consuming and calming. Give it a shot!

Oh.My.God. I was once just a shadow of a human, living a tiny life of quiet futility just like you, but now that Ive purchased this game, nay, this Experience, and loaded it onto my iPhone, everything has changed. Quite obviously Im waaay hipper now. You will be too, if you purchase it. For so long as you continue to not own it, you will deserve every bit of snide contempt we hipsters will toss in your direction, you losers. I mean, really, who do you think you are, not loving this game, this Experience, this Reason For Existence? It contains sounds... and colors... and seemingly even aromas that have not yet even been witnessed by mankind until now. Why bother to believe in God when you could be believing in Superbrothers instead? :)

I hate to give it one star but the game doesnt live up to the hype at all. The music is good and I love the art and the funny comments, but thats just about it. There is a total lack of gameplay. I was intrigued at first but the game wears out fast.. I had to take a breaks and eventually had to forced myself to finish playing it. There was great potential for this game, but I cant stress enough how boring this game is. There are better games to play with this kind of price, youre paying for ART if you buy this game and thats all.

I have heard many who have expressed frustration in the seemingly over simplified graphics. Some claim they can paint just as well in Microsoft paint. These people dont have the will and capacity to understand the beauty of minimalism. To construct such unique characters in such a fully engaged atmosphere, with just few dots of pixels, is truly masterful if not the most difficult task to do. The game strikes a balance in aspects that regurgitated corporate games fail to deliver. This is art, it will make you feel uncomfortable, and thats where you find new and memorable experience.
