Pros and cons of Superbrothers: S&S EP Micro app for iPhone and iPad

Superbrothers: S&S EP Micro app good for

finished the story figured out everything by myself love the story love the music love the battles (I never thought battles with triangles could be so epic) AMAZING GAME
This little adventure has all the right charms to get stuck in your thoughts even when its not being played. The main villain (?) is super creepy. The game overlaps humor and dire seriousness. Good job from a local shop in Toronto. P.S. Check out Clash of Heroes on PS3 or DS, created by this same group of peoples. That one will steal your time in a good way.
If youve played Flower on ps3, then superbros is kinda like it in a few ways, you have to be in a certain mood to appreciate both of them, they are both more if an expierience than an actual game, and both are not for everyone. Superbrothers focuses less on gameplay and story and more on art and sound, and boy is the outcome incredible. Seriously just buy it.
This game is beautifully designed and the gameplay is incredible. This is a game that is amazing to play as well as just to look at. It may be a video game, but its art as well. So take that, Angry Birds! P.S. I would totally buy this on Mac!
Something born from combining unusual elements to create an unprecedented and amazing work of art. You know how when you experience something that is just absolutely perfect and right? Well thats what Superbrothers: Swords & Sworcery is.
So incredible I actually left a review. A game that Ill actually remember. Gives an impression of actual emotion, and drops you into an environment that is hard to understand, but it grabs you. If you have fingers I would recommend playing this.

Some bad moments

I give it a 2 because they actually drew art for the world, and it doesnt crash constantly. I kept waiting for the good part to begin, but it never did. It starts off looking like an adventure game, but with irritating controls, and scripting that feels more like Sleep is Death than a premade game. For the first few sessions, theres not much point, and no challenge - its mostly about persistently tapping things in every possible order until it works so you can advance. Later, a slow, boring, drawn out boss battle with a triangle happens. It takes forever just to begin. Its pretty much learn by dying, it has god knows how many phases, and if you cant beat it with full HP the first few times, then your only option becomes beating it with 1hp. Brilliant. Explain nothing, then make a difficulty curve that instantly goes from 0 to so high you cant tell where it stops, and if that turns out to be too hard, make it impossible. To add insult to injury, it camps directly in front of a healing item - if youve figured out its a healing item, that is. You cant get it though - its just to remind you youre fighting a completely abstract superboss with 1hp. At that point, you may as well uninstall. It tries to be clever by putting no effort into the characters lines, but falls flat. Its not hip or ironic to make something badly on purpose. Basically, I bitterly regret having spent actual money on this. Art games can be WONDERFUL, but they can also be the opposite. This feels more like an attempt to troll indie game fans and see what theyll put up with.
Please remove the Tweet "everything" function from the game - it hinders my absorption of the fantasy by reminding me about life at every turn. Its a cheap marketing ploy.
The other great reviews must be from the author and his friends. What a waste of money and time. You just walk around and double click stupid things all game. Stay away.
I dont really know what people find so great about this game. The graphics are horrible, the controls are not impressive and the story is really nothing. And why are people so impressed by the soundtrack? Its a bunch of bleeps and bloops over some tranquil background noise. Many games exist similar to this one that make you feel like you accomplished something when you make two objects combine to progress.
I dont like playing this game, because you always have to retrace your steps, indefinitely, on the same area, with the same few visual elements, trees, fountains, stairs... Puzzles are not so interesting, combats are weird with unresponsive controls... I think the art design is nice, sound effects are excellent, and music is good. But the gameplay is terrible... Most of the time you double tap to walk, or you wait for the slow animations to end, to finally have some action! Even with solutions, I found this game boring and laborious...
Is it possible to go in the well with the iOS versions? If possible someone plz tell me
